I'm into soft rock today.
hot in the morning, somewhat cold this evening. When something good happens, expect that something bad will happen next.
Huh!
The Good Story: Yesterday, I went to the chess room during my 1030-1200 break. Since this was the first time the team and coach Roland saw me again after two weeks, I was asked to spar against Sheila, who had just finished a game against Arlene, wherein the latter won. And there! I won!!! Bwahaha!!! This was good news since I wouldn't do the punishment... (pumpings).
Pumpings described: You start with your arms crossing in front of your chest and each of your hands holding each of your ears. At the count of one, you start sitting down (not on a chair or anything... just sit down but don't get your ass too low that it touches the floor) then stand up again. That's one. Two begins when you're sitting down again and ends when you stand up. In our case, the rule here is that when you lose a chess game, you do pumpings (15 counts) and additional pumpings if on that particular game, you did some stupid blunders.
Coach Idel (long-time-no-see since the teambuilding in Tagaytay) congratulated me. Yey! ehehe... and Chiara, the team captain, too. Coach Idel said that although I can't be present in our trainings most of the time, I should still continue on solving chess puzzles. Then later in the afternoon, I went with two Philosophy classmates to Jollibee and guess what? Coach Roland and coach Mike were there, too!
Coach Roland asked good-naturedly, "Ano bang ginawa mo at nanalo ka pa kanina? Nagpapractice ka ba?" (since I don't attend trainings pretty much, he doesn't know whatever I'm doing about chess). Of course, the right thing to say would be: "Yes, coach," which was what I said cuz I couldn't tell him that I don't practice (which is true, at least, I don't practice that much) cuz he'll get angry. My... He then said that I did well in this morning's match but my moves will even get better if I attend trainings. Ehehe...
The Bad Story: Today, I woke up at 1030 which was the goddam time when my first class starts! Damn! And that was Electronics!!! Aaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhh!!! (This might only be a paragraph but I did feel bad about it...
Then I tripped four times!
