My New Love... Gin!

  • Mood:
  • Music: Rock You Like a Hurricane; Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
  • Recent Addiction: Gin!
  • Weather and Clothing: hot, cloudy, rainy, mix them all!
Yay! Guess who's here??

It's Gin! Woohoo!!!

No, not him... Haha!! (I wish...) The Gin I'm talking about is this one:

Hai! Sou desu yo! Gin is a black scorpion! Yeah, black though it may seem he's kinda brownish in the picture. Cool, huh? It's because of the lighting that's why he appeared a bit brownish. I bought him (not really sure if it's a he or a she but I consider Gin a he anyway) from Ted and JR (ECE batchmates), and this morning Ted brought him (with a container of course) during Elc 151.1 class. I don't really know what specie Gin belongs to and I didn't care to remember Gin's scientific name (Ted told me one time in the lab but it was, well, you know how scientific names are, and I was doing something, too, so I was torn between listening to Gin's scientific name and to go back to what I was doing at the time). I'll ask them more about Gin when I see them in school.

Gin looks like this one, don't you think?

source: [http://www.flickr.com/photos/destinysagent/490261910/]

Only Gin's a bit soily because of his place (yeah, I'm talking about him like he's some guy living in an apartment. Hahaha!!!) Really, when you look at Gin closely, you'll notice that he's shiny, too. Back to the picture, this specie here is an Emperor Scorpion (an Emperor befitting an Empress, how's that huh? Mahaha!!!) and so it would be extremely, rightly appropriate that I own a pet like this, Muhaha!

Anyway, during Elc 151.1, somebody asked me, "You like scorpions?" Hmmmn... maybe? To tell you something about me, I truly treasure animals and nature, and so I think it's just normal for me if I bought a scorpion. Aside from having a pet of my own in my dorm (and a companion at that, me being alone in my room), I would also like to take care of something. I can't possibly put a plant in my room (plants need sunlight and it's tiring to bring a plant in and out of the room). And I can't find a turtle bigger than those little ones I found in a  mall, therefore, I couldn't buy a turtle (having found out from my previous roommates' experience when she had those turtles in the room that those tiny guys stink so quickly). A scorpion's more than fine.. Hihihi..

And then Mac, who was on my left, looked at Gin, who I placed on the couch said, "You like scorpions? I don't like scorpions, spiders, snakes... "
Irumi: Spiders and scorpions are okay with me. I don't care much about snakes, though.
Mac: Well, I don't really kill spiders when I see them. I let them go but I just don't like them. But maybe if it's a scorpion, I might possibly kill it.
Irumi looks cautiously at Mac while she reaches for Gin and takes him AWAY from Mac.

Hahaha!

During my classes, by the way, I left Gin in the laboratory. It's a cozy environment, HAHA!! And there would be the ECE people to take care of him (ok, not actually take care, just look at him, see if he's still moving or something, or just be plain amused, poke him here and there to wake him up and see what he can do as a scorpion, something like that...errr...). At lunch Kinsley fed him with this:

which is called a superworm (how's that? A SUPERworm for an Emperor Scorpion owned by an Empress... This is really getting awesome... Beautiful, just beautiful... Yumichika? I can hear you from here right now! Come over here! and be vain together with me, haha!). Ted actually told me that he fed Gin yesterday night so he's not supposed to eat until after three days. Cool, I only need to feed him every other three days. But I guess it didn't matter because when I looked over at Gin, he had already grabbed the superworm and started munching on it, head first. Of course, in due time, the superworm died (who wouldn't getting your head eaten off like that?). Gin was a slow-eater, I guess, that's a scorpion for you, and he was holding the worm the whole time and sipping the juice. I didn't see this, Kins and Kit were watching Gin and were saying all these stuff...

Kins: Gross! He's sipping the juice! Look!
Kit (eating chicken roll I think), looked for a while and walked away.
Me: Hahaha!!!
Kins: Hahaha!!! He's eating!
Kit: ...I'm eating...

I didn't get a picture of Gin eating, though... Um, sad. Another diet for Gin is this cricket here:

I think this isn't the same as the one with the bugs I saw at lunch. The ones I saw were a bit fatter and a bit darker in color. I asked JR about handling Gin and he told me not to directly get him with my hands, but rather, I take him from his place with a stick and then put him on my arms. Although Gin's sting is not really poisonous, (if you're allergic to bee sting, you can put in some cream called "name" I've forgotten), it's advisable not to wait to be stung. In addition to taking care of Gin, he said that I not expose him to sunlight (Gin's a vampire!!!! Ooops, kidding... hihihi) and that I put him in a bigger place for him to move around. I'm already thinking of that one actually because I don't want to restrain his movements too much or he'll learn to be a bum one day. HAHA. Well, that's one reason and another is that I want to get him a nice habitat because I'm a good master! Yay! I just need to add some microwaved soil (microwaved to somehow kill organisms and stuff) and put some water in a tiny, tiny container with pebbles. Ted also said that from time to time, I sprinkle a little water into the soil.

So there Gin! Don't die (Yeah, that's a command). I even named you after my boyfriend Gin (haha!) so be a good boy.. There, there... I'm your master. Oops, Gin (the real one) doesn't know about this yet... I'll tell him later, haha!!

Here's my real boyfriend Gin:

Ain't he cool? Hahaha!!! Orioto, you're the best, so cool....

Err... Take, don't get mad... Haha! You know how I am.

Putting aside Gin, today, I went to the department and made and printed the registration form for tomorrow's Launching of IT Equipment Donations by Smart. I'll be the one at the registration and Sir Paul was joking, "Formal gown daw."

Irumi: Huh?! Don't want toooooooo.... [exaggerated]
Sir Paul: Hahahahaha!!!!

Of course, Sir Paul was just joking... Nyahaha!

Sir Paul: You can bring a chess set and challenge the attendees... "Here, three moves!"
Me and Rui-chan: Hahaha!!!!

There. Eto, koko made da. Oyasumi nasai...

Velvet Tears

  • Mood:
  • Music: AM 11:00 by HY
  • Recent Addiction: errmm. peach??
  • Weather and Clothing: yeah, the weather, it's like a fickle-minded woman

I just remembered this poem I wrote almost three years ago. I just want to put it here

VELVET TEARS
Takezawa Irumi
Oct. 29, 2004
modified Nov. 21, 2004

I've come back
My body's still the same
But my soul's transformed.

In a sphere of daggers
A lightning pierced my heart,
Took it away,
Hanged it directly above.
I never did see it there
I only felt the blood,
Bathing me
Quenching the thirst of my dried mouth.

I've come back
Yet you don't even remember me
Don't you recognize?
Don't you see the same body?
Don't you see the same eyes?
Don't you feel my being?
How clueless can you be?

Now save your soul
Because you don't see anymore
The fear in my eyes
The trembling in my pleading lips.
My song's gone
Replace it with yours.
Your most soothing song.

Soothing shall it be?
No.
But a hollow melody, a stray cry.

Look at me
And fear my blazing eyes
For you cannot drop a single tear
Not with me
Not this time.
Your turn to sing has come.

Your pleas are not welcome
My ears deaf
My eyes dark, denied of emotions
My skin numb of any feeling
My lips sealed in silence
My soul unreceptive.

A long time ago
My velvet tears had dried.

1-Minute Blitz Chess Presentation

  • Mood:
  • Music: Baby It's You - June (yay! finished with the presentation!)
  • Recent Addiction: Lovely Complex
  • Weather and Clothing: dim, cloudy
I was tired yesterday so I wasn't able to post an entry. Anyway, we had Pabaon for graduating seniors yesterday which was so-so. I hardly heard the speakers mainly because I was at the back of the venue and most of my fellow graduating seniors were noisy (if one is at the back, it is most probable that one talks with his/her friend or blockmate). Also, I think they should have turned the volume up so that we could hear clearly (the microphone's quite so-so).

And then I watched 9 episodes of this really funny anime called Lovely Complex. I just can't help it if I was laughing my socks off but the characters' facial expressions are really funny and unique! Hahaha!!! (Oooh, one more anime series added to my list of "to buy") It's still ongoing but I want to watch them all NOW!! Haha! Am I being demanding here?

Yeah, if you've figured it out, I'd spent my afternoon yesterday watching that anime (and laughing along, too).

Change topic: I'm broke this weekend and yesterday I still had to buy some materials for the decorations on Hataw Na! activity at PACE. And so I borrowed some money from Monsieur Rui (Rui-chan, merci beaucoup! :-*). I'll have my allowance tomorrow, yay! They liked my design by the way. Anyway, my stomach hurts today, it's hard to breathe but thankfully, I was able to dance normally during the presentation... hahaha!

P.S. Regarding the title: Kuya Jonathan was joking me about playing chess as my presentation (instead of dancing) and so I told him jokingly as well that my 1-minute blitz was unfortunately forgotten to be included in the program. Haha!

Oranges and Lemonades [forget the lemonade part.. haha!]

  • Mood:
  • Music: Baby It's You - June, the one we're dancing to...
  • Recent Addiction: oranges! <--here's the lemon part, haha!! just an emoticon
  • Weather and Clothing: fine...
No classes today because of Faculty Day. It's supposed to be a long weekend for me because I don't have classes on Thursdays, and no classes today Friday, and then Saturday and Sunday are weekends so no classes. That's four consecutive days but what the heck am I being busy for?

Err... oh, well.

At 1000 this morning I taught Issa the dance steps for this Sunday's presentation, had a lunch break for about, say 40 minutes, and got back to teaching dance steps again. And then I was asked to listen to a practice lecture regarding three divisions: body, soul, and spirit. Right after, there was a sudden reeducation for one whole hour. At 1515 till 1600 I taught Auda the dance steps (although I felt really sleepy).

Summary: I taught dance steps for two persons for different time schedules. Result: I was soooo damn tired. The dance was hiphop so imagine.

After the dance steps thingie, I went to the grocery and bought stuff (yeah!!! I bought oranges!!! woohoo!!! I'm fond of oranges....mwaaah!! Apples next time, go Ryuk!). I got back to my dorm and my landlady welcomed me with, "We changed your lights already (smile)." Haha!! Cool, new lights!

The scene in my room:

Irumi comes in... looks around... reaches for the switch, turns the light on.

Irumi: Whoaa... Um, ok.            [comment: 5 seconds of wonderment then back to normal]

Irumi looks at her cool posters on the walls then walks to her bed, sits down, places her shopping bags on her bed, looks for the oranges, gets one, laughs "Mahaha!!!" animatedly like some evil queen getting hold of one ultimate power stone, peels the orange skin, and eats with an approving "mmmmmnnn." She finishes the orange, suddenly lies down on her bed. 5....4....3....2....1.... Asleep.

End.

I woke up at 2045. That's about 4 hours of sleep.. Mahaha!!!

To Bait Fish Withal

  • Mood: I'm a pirate!
  • Music: Kimi ga Kureta Mono - Home Made Kazoku
  • Recent Addiction: ermmm.. Shakespeare?
  • Weather and Clothing: fine fine fine
I borrowed three books from the library today: one is a collection of four Shakespeare comedies, another is a book called "Defiance" which is about a genius woman who killed two of her lovers (it's a psychological fiction), and the last one is Hotel Transylvania: A Novel of Forbidden Love, which I don't know what about. HAHA. All I know is that Hotel Transylvania has historical figures as its characters like Le Comte de Saint-Germain. Just now I looked at Amazon and read that it's a vampire tale.

I actually don't have classes on Thursdays but I just went to school today since I didn't have anything to do in my room. At least I could stay in the laboratory and use the computer there to, well, check mails or watch anime or download songs or just play some games.

Well, I danced a bit, too, haha! (Damn, I remembered the gang's teasing me... again, and there was another person in the room!!! Oh God... Honto ni...)

In the evening, I went to the church for the conditional prayer and then after, ate at KFC with Ron. Gigi's phone was with me and he was supposed to get it in KFC (he called and he said he was going there when I told him I was at KFC). Ron and I finished eating and talking about some stuff and it was when I got back in my dorm that Gigi called again and asked me where I was and I told him I just got back and he said that I wait for him by the gate. Finally, he got his phone. He's with Jen by the way. Cool, huh? Oh yeah, he finally saw my drawing when we were in CTC208. Anyway, I still have to sign my name in it.

P.S. I saw uluL's oppa by Mag:net. HA HA HA!!!

Cafe Latte: This is the Day

  • Mood:
  • Music: Thumb Thumpin' (heard this old song from my friendster media box )
  • Recent Addiction: Home Made Kazoku - Musication!
  • Weather and Clothing: fine

I'm not really a coffee person (rather, I'm into drinking milk) but last week, Rui-chan and Jin-chan were drinking cappucino and cafe latte after our first period so I thought what those tasted like and so I bought a cafe latte from the vendo, too. It seemed good and so the next day I bought another.

Today, however, I bought my third cafe latte and right after finishing my cup, I felt so light like I was floating... yeah, cool huh? Was that the feeling when you're in drugs or something? Hahaha!!! Kidding!

And so during lunch, I was in a hurry to stuff something into my stomach so that I'd feel normal again (HAHA) and well, it turned OK.

The following is my statistics for the Wolf game:
Sorceress --------- 1
Normal Villager -- 2
Little Girl --------- 2
Hunter ------------- 3
Wolf --------------- 10

Cool huh? In the first 11 games, I'd been a Wolf for 8 games. Whoa... Bestseller... Haha!

I Know Now What Shadows Can't See

  • Mood:
  • Music: Baby It's You
  • Recent Addiction: Ravenhearst Manor (that mystery files game)
  • Weather and Clothing: hot outside~

I'm finally finished with my on-the-job training. My last day as a trainee was just yesterday and I sure am going to miss everyone at work. It was a cool experience, really, but I can't tell things about my work here in this journal because who knows? I might spill something confidential regarding the company without really being aware of it (I'm a detail-oriented person). I don't want complications. Hehe..

Today, I'm back in school and I just finished my registration for the first semester of my fifth year taking up BS ECE. I haven't had my ID validated yet, however. Well, it doesn't matter, I'll have it validated tomorrow. Yosh! Ganbarimasu yo!

6 Things:

1. So, basically Louie's been hyper today. Again. What is it when I see Louie these days? She seems to be in active mode. Hahaha!

2. I haven't finished making the steps for Baby It's You (one of Bleach's ending theme). I'm not actually doing this for any presentation or whatever, it's just that the song's got this beat and I learned to like it and whenever I hear it, I just feel like dancing along so I tried making up these steps. Some days ago, Jin and Haruhi were telling me to start learning ballroom dancing and I said, no way. I knew then they had a secret agenda. Now I think I know what it is. Well, thanks, but no way. I'd prefer to dance ala-hiphop. Yeah, Louie, you go tango with your oppa.

3. We have a batch outing for 3 days, 2 nights right before classes start on June 13. I'd love to go because mainly, I haven't gone swimming this summer but I won't.

4. I'm going to transfer into a single room in my dorm. I don't have a roommate anymore and my landlady's going to do some repairs in the room and so it's just reasonable that I transfer. Ooh... I've got a lot to carry, haha!  Wish me luck!

5. First semester's starting Wednesday next week. I'm looking forward to it but somehow I feel like I need some vacation (like, for a week) since I just finished my OJT yesterday and I feel tired.

6. Robotics.

  • Mood:

  • Recent Addiction: still L!!!
  • Weather and Clothing: hot outside , cold inside ctc 208

Today, I got my regform for the first semester and my grades this summer in ECE 190.1 Practicuum I. Anyway, what the hell is wrong with Crunchyroll today?! And what the heck is with my messenger? Or is it my connection?! Damn, I hate this.

So basically I learned that the first day of classes would be on June 13 and not June 18 as what I had believed before. Anyway, it doesn't bother me much since I'm gonna be finished with my internship this Wednesday (should've been tomorrow if not for me going to the bus stop at such a late hour and the last trip to Batangas had already left leaving me back here in my dorm).

Oooh, I'll miss the ESD team.

Louie's been so hyper today... That's it. 'nough said.

Ice Skating

Last Friday, being President's Day, six of us went to Mall of Asia to go ice skating. It was my first time to try the sport but I didn't really care much about doing it. I was thinking it would be easy you know. It cost Php280 each (unlimited time) plus Php30 for a locker.

It wasn't hard walking with skates only if your not on ice, but the moment I got in the rink, what the hell... it wasn't that easy as I thought it would be. The ice was too damn slippery that I had to hold on to the edge of the rink but it was still slippery.... MORE TO COME!

My Handwriting Analysis (from tickle)

  • Mood:
  • Music: LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE jet
  • Recent Addiction: electromagnetics?!?!?
  • Weather and Clothing: hot in here
Clear-headed

Your writing style reflects that you don't get confused easily, instead you manage to keep your wits about you most of the time. Tickle research indicates that people who are clear-headed generally have a few or all of the following characteristics in their writing:

  • Block paragraphs
  • A rightward slant
  • A baseline that is neither false ascending nor descending
  • Letters that are average or smaller than average in size
  • Average or faster than average writing speed
  • Writes in cursive and doesn't print
Your writing tends to be fast, neat, and flowing because you are able to communicate your thoughts clearly and easily. Of all of the personality characteristics that are projected in your writing, a clear-headed nature is the one that predominates. However, Tickle has also included in this report a comprehensive handwriting analysis, using traditional methods, to give you a deeper view into what a handwriting analyst might say about you based on your writing.

To help you better consider the information you might hear from a traditionally trained graphologist, Tickle has generated a handwriting analysis with scientific annotations. These annotations reflect the confidence with which Tickle would agree with a handwriting analyst. Each item in this report has between one to three checkmarks next to it, indicating the level of confidence with which Tickle could validate the accuracy of the claims within the section. Items with no checkmarks were not validated in Tickle's study.

Graphologists use a number of techniques to decipher your handwriting. Tickle's test focuses on the ten most revealing and prominent traits: Slant, Baseline, Margins, Spacing, Pressure, Size, Speed, Zones, Style, and Signature. This section explains the basic rationale behind each trait, as well as the specific meaning of your personalization of that trait.

Your Slant

As children, we're taught to slant to the right, primarily because we write from left to right. This means that a rightward slant is the most common slant, though some people have a leftward, vertical, or varied slant. While you might assume that left-handed people are more likely to slant to the left, graphologists have discovered that an equal percentage of lefties and righties slant in both directions.

You have a vertical slant. According to handwriting analysts, your slant indicates that you tend to be focused when it comes to logic and order. Your diplomatic nature may lead you to put your head over your heart, focusing more on what you think than on what you feel. Others may see you as indifferent because of your tendency to suppress your true feelings. Because we write from left to right on the page, having a vertical slant indicates a focus on being in the moment, neither leaning forward toward the future or backward toward the past. Thus, your vertical slant indicates that you focus your thoughts and efforts on the present.

Your Baseline

The baseline is the invisible line we use to guide our handwriting on a blank sheet of paper. Some baselines are relatively straight, while others slant upward, downward, or vary as the line progresses to the edge of the page. When you start at the left-hand side of the page, you're in the past. As you write across the page, you move through the present and to the future. Handwriting analysts believe that the angle of your baseline as you progress through this metaphorical time continuum reveals information about your general moods, your attitudes toward the past, present, and future, and your level of mental energy

You have a straight baseline. Handwriting analysts say that this means your emotions and your outward behavior is stable and even-keeled. You likely exert a certain level of self-control over your external expression of your mood. People can count on you to be consistent and careful. While a relatively straight baseline indicates stability, an overly straight baseline (one created by writing with a ruler, or one that looks as if it's been written using a ruler), is a sign that one is over-controlling their behavior to compensate for a deeper fear of losing control.

Your Margins

Graphologists see the blank page as a representation of your life. The top of the page represents your past, the bottom represents your future. Likewise, the left side symbolizes your past, and the right side represents your future. The size and placement of your margins speaks to how you balance your relationship with the past and present, as well as how you interact with the people you encounter. The ideal, standard margin for adults is to start roughly 1 to 1½ inches in from the left and to go as far as you can to the edge of the right-hand side without moving into it and having to crunch your words.

Your Full Page

You exhibit the ideal, standard margins on all sides of the page. Analysts believe this standard formatting indicates a healthy relationship with your past and your future.

Your Left Margin

Because we write from left to right, the left side of the page reveals our feelings about our past. Your standard left margin leads graphologists to conclude that you have a healthy relationship with your past.

Your Right Margin

Our right margins relate to our feelings about the future. Graphologists believe that your standard right margin means you have a healthy relationship with the future, and you don't overly focus your attentions on the past. You're adaptable and flexible, and your logical nature gives you a stable and even-keeled personality.

Your Top Margin

You have a large top margin. Your adherence to standard formatting points to your more formal, humble nature. Because you allow for the standard amount of room in your top margin, you're likely more considerate and respectful in your interactions with others.

Your Lower Margin

Handwriting analysts deem your lower margin narrow. Because the bottom of the page represents the future, your neglecting to leave a sufficient bottom margin may indicate a potential tendency to delay the inevitable.

Your Indentations

Because you indent the first line of each paragraph, graphologists would speculate that you're orderly but also spontaneous. Because this is the standard formatting, you also exhibit successful social integration.

Your Spacing

The spacing between your letters, words, and lines of writing all reveal how you feel about your relationship to others. Analysts see each word as an expression of yourself, and how close you place those words reveals your unconscious emotional and physical boundaries with others. Because spacing will vary with how fast you're writing, standard spacing is generally anything that doesn't stand out as unusual.

Your Spacing Between Letters and Words

The spacing between your letters is narrow, while the spacing between your words is overly wide. Analysts say this means you tend to be uptight, and that intimacy may feel particularly challenging for you.

Your Spacing Between Lines

You have standard, even line spacing, which points to your being a consistent, even-keeled person with clear intelligence.

Your Pressure

The pressure of your handwriting relates to how hard you're pressing down when you're writing. Analysts believe that the pressure of one's writing relates to the amount of mental energy and intensity the writer is experiencing. Pressure is a trait that can change regularly, depending on your mood. However, most people generally write with a medium pressure.

The light pressure you exert while writing is a sign that you may be passive, gentle, and calm.

Your Size

Because the blank paper represents your life and your surroundings, the size of your writing represents the way you relate to your surroundings. Analysts learn to determine size by examining many handwriting samples, and comparing those samples over time. Because size isn't a fixed trait, and the size of the paper can impact the size of your writing, it can be useful to view several samples to get the most accurate reading of your handwriting size.

Graphologists would categorize the size of your writing as medium. They'd say you're someone who feels socially normal and possesses an average ability of concentration. The majority of people write this way, except for when they're experiencing a temporary shift in mood.

Your Speed

The speed at which you write is a sign of intelligence, spontaneity, patience, and honesty. Adults of average intelligence who are being truthful generally don't write slowly most of the time. When someone generally writes quickly, but suddenly slows down over a few words, graphologists often suspect that those words could be untrue or conflicted.

The slow speed at which you generally write indicates a guarded and potentially deceitful nature.

Your Zones

Your handwriting can be dissected into three zones: the upper, middle, and lower zones. Tickle's handwriting test focused on your upper zone, which represents your mind, and your lower zone, which represents your instincts and desires. In graphology, the standard balance for the zones is for your middle zone to take up half the amount of space as your upper or middle zones. Graphologists reap a lot of information from the size and proportion of the zones, as well as the shape of the letters that appear in each zone.

Your Lower Zone

The length of your lower loop is normal, which means you are likely consistent and able to stick with things — such as mates, jobs, and locations — for a long time.

The normal shape of your lower loop shows that you're able to maintain an affectionate, monogamous sexual relationship.

The normal shape of your lower loop shows that you're able to maintain an affectionate, monogamous sexual relationship.

The size of your lower loop is normal, which means you're sexually satisfied and happy with the status of your material life.

Your Upper Zone

Your pointed upper loop reveals that you often feel worried and uptight.

Your "stick figure" upper loop, which lacks a lead in from the baseline, means that you're direct and efficient.

Your Style

The style of your handwriting refers to whether you generally use print or cursive, or a combination of the two. The reason for your choice is significant to graphologists. One reason for this is that printing only certain words or phrases may be an indication of dishonesty. Another reason is that statistically, more men print than women. Some analysts believe this is because boys' fine motor skills aren't as advanced as girls' at the age at which printing is taught, which makes it more difficult in general for boys to learn to write. By the time cursive is being taught, many boys have decided they don't care for handwriting, and even though their fine motor skills have caught up by this point, many are reluctant to take on a whole new kind of writing with the same gusto. Once they're no longer forced to write in cursive, many boys return to print.

Your Printed and Cursive Writing

You've indicated that you generally try to print, even though your cursive writing is legible. Handwriting analysts believe this means you don't want to reveal your true personality to others, and that you consider the effect you have on others.

Capitalization of Your Printed Writing

When you write in standard capital and lower case letters, you maintain the distinctions among the three zones of writing. Handwriting analysts believe this means you like things to be neat and orderly, and that you generally follow the rules necessary to keep things clear.

Your Signature

While the majority of your handwriting communicates your conscious feelings and ideas, your signature represents your unconscious public self-image. In your signature, you convey your public identity: how you see your public self, how you wish others would see you, and how you think others do see you. By comparing your signature with the rest of your writing, graphologists seek to determine if your public and private personas are similar or different.

Your Signature Style

You've indicated that your Signature Style is similar to the rest of your handwriting. This means that you're a person who lives by a "what you see is what you get" ethos. You aren't likely to show off or put on airs in public.

Your Signature Size

Because your signature is slightly smaller than the rest of your writing, analysts believe that you are a shy and reserved person who likely prefers to fade into the background whenever possible.

Your Signature's Legibility

Having both a signature that's illegible with writing that is clear and legible indicates that you hope to communicate your thoughts to others while simultaneously hiding your true self.

Your Signature's Underscore

Your underscore, which obliterates part or all of your name, is a sign to analysts that you either have an unconscious desire to self-destruct, or you have negative feelings toward the family members who provided you with that name.

Your Signature's Initials

Because the initials in your signature are much larger than the other letters, graphologists think you may have the tendency to assert yourself too strongly to overcompensate for inner feelings of inadequacy.

Your Signature Placement

Placing your signature on the right-hand side of the page indicates that you go along with what you're taught. You're also particularly conscious of your public persona.

In addition to the ten handwriting traits just discussed, handwriting analysts also take into account the formation of individual letters. This section of your report reveals what graphologists would say about your letter formation.

Your lower-case "a" indicates that you have a sociable personality.

Your lower case "b" is a standard shape and indicates your adherence to the norm in some cases.

Your upper-case "I" indicates that you're an educated and well-balanced person.

Handwriting analysts believe that your lower-case "j" indicates that you're an educated and balanced person.

Your upper-case "L" indicates that you're an educated and balanced person.

Your capital "O" is a sign that you're well-educated.

Analysts believe your lower-case "y" is a sign of a well-balanced personality.

A particular conducted research (I don't know the exact title) shows the following top concerns, worries, preoccupations of the students of the four schools of the Ateneo de Manila University:

SCHOOL OF SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING (SOSE) Students
1. food
2. computers
3. books

Comment: Being a SOSE student, I so can relate to this. It's true, really. I tend to crave for food during my breaks: lunch break, breaks between classes, blablah. Food is a basic necessity! Then computers. Of course, SOSE students actually LOVE computers. Then books. I don't know what particular books but whatever kind, we SOSE students read a lot. I, for example (yeah, I'm making myself an example. What do you care?) am not only fond of science and engineering-related books but also those classic, fictional, psychological, literary, etc. kind of books. Not much romance, of course.

SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT (SOM) Students
1. fashion
2. car accessories
3. cellphones

Comment: Maybe because they are business-oriented?

SCHOOL OF HUMANITIES (SOH) Students
relationships

Comment: Nyahaha...!

SCHOOL OF SOCIAL SCIENCES (SOSS) Students
outreach programs

Comment: Nice! Very socially-oriented!

Seeds

I was one of those people who were "blessed" to have the opportunity to swallow a seed of a particular fruit during childhood. At least blessed enough to learn sooner or later that the seed won't ever germinate and grow into a tiny plant and later on into a stemmy, leafy living thing that would branch out of your body.

When I was a kid, I loved eating oranges and those fruits that belong to the orange family as what I call their fruit group. I usually listed these fruits down on whatever paper that came in handy just for the fun of it (having this solid belief that the orange family or citrus whatever is somewhat a big family compared to other family of fruits, say, for instance, compared to the family of bananas, and taking great pleasure at the wonderful thought of it). During these instances, I always ended up with the following list, unless of course I forgot one of the fruits (arranged with respect to size: biggest to smallest):

Lucban__Orange__Ponkan__Dalandan/Sinturis__Calamansi

One time, I got too involved in eating a sinturis that I had the luck to accidentally swallow a seed of it. My eyes widened into big circles, too bewildered to see and recognize anything of at least a meter of distance range in spite of them being bigger than their normal Asian-eye size. My mouth allowed my ability of speech to slip out of it and wander somewhere else. My mind received an invisible punch from who knows where which resulted to the generation of the most concerned question, "What if the seed grows into a plant?!" which further led to an inner struggle/debate about the life of the swallowed seed and to the thought of my doom as a human being whose body would be possibly taken over by a lower life form (and a leafy one at that!) devoid of rational thinking. I even wondered about drinking water cuz as what I knew then, watering seeds and plants nourish them thus making them grow.

So there I was, a kid with a great deal of a problem worrying about the affairs of a seed which could've probably been taking sanctuary somewhere in my belly.

The seed didn't grow into a plant, of course. There was no sunlight. No soil. I figured this out after some time with the help of my science class. Hahaha... Also, the seed, I was sure, suffered in the process of digestion... Hahaha!!!

See, our body systems are really powerful what with those stones, jackstones, coins, or lego pieces one swallows (no, I haven't swallowed these stuff). Such victims of I'm-just-a-thing-turned-food scheme of those kids (or adults if you want) endowed with intense curiosity are being broken down by the mechanisms in our digestive system.

From the experience, I earned no repulsive or violent attitude toward the orange family. To tell the truth, I remain addicted to the fruits of the family. My favorite fruit is orange and my favorite color is orange.

Seeds... brrr...

Stars - Switchfoot

  • Music: STARS - switchfoot
  • Recent Addiction: stars!!!!
  • Weather and Clothing: starry night!
Maybe I've been the problem
Maybe I'm the one to blame
But even when I turn it off and blame myself
The outcome feels the same

I've been thinkin' maybe I've been partly cloudy
Maybe I'm the chance of rain
And maybe I'm overcast and maybe
All my luck's washed down the drain

I've been thinkin' 'bout everyone, everyone you look so lonely
But when I look at the stars,
When I look at the stars,
When I look at the stars
I see someone else
When I look at the stars, the stars
I feel like myself

Stars looking at our planet,
Watching entropy and pain
And maybe startin' to wonder
How the chaos in our lives could pass as sane

I've been thinkin' 'bout the meaning of resistance
Of a world beyond our own
And suddenly the infinite and penitent
Began to look like home

I've been thinkin' 'bout everyone, everyone you look so empty
But when I look at the stars,
When I look at the stars,
When I look at the stars
I see someone else
When I look at the stars, the stars
I feel like myself

Everyone, everyone you feel so lonely
Everyone, ya everyone you feel so empty
When I look at the stars,
When I look at the stars,
When I look at the stars
I feel like myself
When I look at the stars, the stars
I see someone
